What a ripper of a day down at the club yesterday.Our Beginners and Come and Try Day was a great success, and it was good to see members joining in for a bit of practice as well.We had a lot of beginners up on the hill, and Phil and Nigel did a fantastic job keeping up with them throughout the day. Top effort and thank you both.Thanks to Murray and Neil, for helping our newer members with some coaching. It was also great seeing members bringing their families, kids and all, to have a go. Lots of laughs, big smiles, and just a really relaxed, friendly vibe all round.Big thanks to Wayne for keeping the snags coming on the BBQ. Another fantastic day at the club on Saturday.We had an great turnout with 8 squads for our 100 tgt Medley (DB, SB, PS, Cont)With the fires going strong, everyone was able to stay warm between rounds, and the shooting was great, with plenty of possibles across the board!Congratulations to Brian Frieberg, who put on an outstanding performance, only dropping one point all day to take out Overall with 149/150.Results:Overall and A Grade: Brian Frieberg 149/150, 2nd Craig Patterson 145/150, 3rd Lucky Phil Lancaster 143/150AA Grade: 1st Charlie Cicciari 145/150, 2nd & 3rd split between Stuart Allen and Steven Howlett 144/150B Grade: 1st Mick Peck 139/150, 2nd Drew Taylor 138/150, 3rd Patrick Siciliano 137/150C Grade: 1st Paul Azzopardi 140/150, John Robinson 127/150, Lou Larubina 125/150Biggest Loser for the day was Stuart AllenAgain, thanks to the crew who set up, pack up and keep the traps filled throughout the day.
